Wonder Woman has been appointed by the United Nations as the honorary ambassador for the empowerment of women and girls. And people, particularly women, are outraged. I'm not particularly impressed, but I'm not particularly surprised. I mean, the decision seems no less effective as the rest of what the UN purports to do.
