Often the impact of something unexpected or uncertain can be as unexpected and uncertain as the event itself. It's a reminder that when we experience sudden change, our instinct is to "get things back on track" as soon as possible. But it's important, I think, to stay in the uncertainty, to notice the "aftershocks" and give them as much attention as the event itself.
